Father's Day Card

Today I have a card to share that would suit a masculine theme (like the Father's Day one I chose for my card), or even to send to avid campers/cottagers as it definitely has an outdoorsy feel to it:

This card was inspired by another card made by a good friend while away for a weekend at a lovely cottage about 2 hours north of Toronto - a very fitting card considering the gorgeous surroundings we enjoyed during our stay.

The good thing about going so early in the season is that we weren't "food" for mosquitoes and deer/black flies :-)

Thanks for dropping by & have a lovely weekend!

Supplies:
Stamps: Stampin' Up Hardwood; Tim Holtz Tree Line; Papertrey Ink World's Greatest
Dies: Impression Obsession Beach Chairs; Embossing Folder; Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Border dies

  1. This is a great Father's Day or masculine card. I could also see it used as a retirement card too. Good use of the Hardwood stamp for the background!

  4. Beautiful and very Northern Ontario scene you created here Susi! I love that Muskoka chair. FYI the black flies and mosquitoes have arrive, but they are still behaving somewhat as long as you keep moving--lol!

  5. Ah yes! Nice of you to omit the mosquitoes and flies from your card! I love your design and the feeling of Up North (as we Michiganders say) it evokes.
