CAS(E) This Sketch #160 - Graceful Blooms

I really enjoy seeing all the lovely floral (Spring) cards being posted on Pinterest. It reminds me that we are almost done with winter and will see the real live blooms soon!

Until then, I guess I have to settle for the "paper" kind :-)

When I saw this week's CAS(E) This Sketch Challenge, the stamp that immediately came to mind was Stampin' Up's Brushstrokes Background, so I decided to play along:

A friend came over to "play" with me last night, and when I finished my card, we had a good laugh as she knows only too well how "uncomfortable" I am with CAS card designs. All that open space had me thinking about sequins ... adding glitter ... maybe even some ribbon. And all she kept saying to me was "Step away from the card!!!". So I did (sigh).

I think I am getting a wee bit better with it.

There's lots of lovely inspiration here on the CAS(E) This Sketch blog, so why don't you join in on the fun?

Cheers!
